The Scouts have released their own Outdoor Learning plan with a whole host of ideas for you to do at home in your own garden, there are over 100 activities for children of all ages to keep them busy this summer.  Their campaign 'The Great Outdoors' features activities suitable for children ages 6-18, including learning how to use a camera, creating a leafy hedgehog and making your very own lollipop stick catapult. The activities range from 15 minutes all the way up to an entire day and it has ideas for Beavers up to Explorers.  The variety of ideas is endless from creative tasks to Outdoor Learning opportunities, getting stuck into practical stuff and physical activities (and more). It will keep your child busy for days. Although, most importantly you don't have to be a Scout in order to take part and give some of the ideas a go at home.
